“Light trucks continue to drive strong demand in 2016,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager for the Toyota division. “The Toyota division had back-to-back, best-ever light truck monthly records, supported by another best-ever month in February for RAV4.”
The Toyota RAV4 is a compact SUV that comes in four trim levels, the LE, the XLE, the SE, and the Limited. This vehicle has earned five out of five stars in government crash tests.
As mentioned, the Toyota RAV4 celebrated its best-ever February sales, selling 25,523 units, an increase of 16 percent over February 2015. The Toyota Highlander also had its best-ever February, selling 12,466 units and increasing sales by 10.7 percent. The Toyota 4Runner increased its sales by 32 percent selling 8,576 units and the Toyota Sienna increased its sales by 5.5 percent selling 11,541 units. The Toyota Tacoma sold a total of 14,172 units, which is an increase of 14.5 percent when compared to February 2015. Toyota is slowly releasing their new models so we are excited to see what is next for the brand.
