The 2016 Toyota RAV4 sold a total of 32,261 units which is a 12 percent increase over May 2015. This also marks the best-ever May for the 2016 Toyota RAV4. This vehicle is available in four trim levels: the LE, XLE, SE, and Limited. It comes standard with an integrated driver blind-spot mirror, rear privacy glass, roof rails, air-conditioning, a rearview camera, as well as a 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seat – just to name a few features.
The 2016 Toyota 4Runner also sold well in May. It increased its sales by 21 percent, selling 10,352 units. This is the second consecutive month the 2016 Toyota 4Runner has sold over 10,000 units. This vehicle is offered in four trim levels:the SR5, Train, TRD Pro, and Limited. It is powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, a combination that produces 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft torque.
“Industry sales remain steady in May with the shift toward light trucks and SUVs continuing.” said Bill Fay, Toyota division group vice president and general manager. “Mirroring that trend, Toyota division SUVs had a best-ever month, led by Toyota RAV4, Toyota Highlander and Toyota 4Runner.”
