Fortune Magazine announced their list of World’s Most Admired Companies in February, and guess who was on the list? Toyota! They were ranked 28th overall, but was in the top 10 when it came to talent and global business. They also ranked number 1 in all categories for motor vehicles sectors. So what does it take to get on this list? Fortune Magazine takes a few things into account when narrowing down the companies to put on this list. First they look at 1,500 companies who have revenues of $10 billion of more, then select the 15 largest for each international industry and the 10 largest for each U.S. industry. They have identified nine aspects they look for which include quality of management, social responsibility, people management and global competitiveness. A total of 652 companies are surveyed from 30 countries.
