Toyota is pleased to release their sales figures for the month of June. They sold a total of 198,257 units. There were quite a few vehicles in the Toyota fleet that performed very well this past month in sales and otherwise. Keep reading for more information.
The 2016 Toyota Corolla sold a total of 30,950 units in June. This vehicle is available in four trim levels the L, LE, LE Eco and S. Some of the technology features included on this vehicle are Bluetooth, an Entune audio system, a 6.1-inch touchscreen and voice controls.
“The auto industry had its best first half since 2000,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager, Toyota division. “Toyota remains the No. 1 retail brand for the first half, and anticipates record sales for the year for our light trucks as availability continues to strengthen.”
There were quite a few Toyota vehicles that celebrated their best-ever first half of the year sales. The first if the 2016 Toyota RAV4. This vehicle saw a 15.5 percent increase in the first half of the year, making it the best-ever first half sales for the vehicle. The 2016 Toyota Highlander sold 13,436 units in the first half of the year and celebrated its best ever first half as well. The final vehicle that celebrated its best ever first half was the 2016 Toyota 4Runner. This vehicle sold 54,468 units, which is an 18 percent increase over 2015.
